PSL-NEURO - PhD funding

The PSL-NEURO programme funds two theses per year, based on applications to doctoral schools (ED).

Conditions

Only candidates eligible for the ED competition are eligible for PSL-NEURO funding. 
In order to ensure a fair distribution of resources, each research team may submit a maximum of one application per year, once every two years in the event of previous success.

Procedure

Applications are submitted via the relevant doctoral schools, mainly 

  • the ED Sciences du Vivant (SdV) at PSL University, 
  • the ED3C at Sorbonne University. 

Affiliated research teams shall comply with the rules in force within the doctoral schools, in particular:

  • the number of applications allowed per team, 
  • the number of applications allowed per HDR, 
  • the renewal rate for applications (once every two years in the event of previous success)
 PSL-NEURO funding allocations are made and communicated following the announcement of the results by the doctoral schools. 

Application 

Candidates shall submit the application made to their doctoral school, to PSL-NEURO steering committee.

The call for applications follows the doctoral school calendar, i.e. between May and June (application deadline 30 June of the year).
The application shall include all the documents requested by the doctoral school:

  • Applicant's CV, 
  • Thesis proposal,
  • Thesis supervisor's opinion.
